ܗܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܝܕܥ ܕܒܝܘܡܬܐ ܐܚܪܝܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܙܒܢܐ ܩܫܝܐ
qshy' zbn' n'thwn 'khry' dbywmth' yde hwyth dyn hd'
But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come.

ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܪܚܡܝ ܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܘܪܚܡܝ ܟܣܦܐ ܫܒܗܪܢܐ ܪܡܐ ܡܓܕܦܢܐ ܕܠܐܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܝܢ ܟܦܪܝ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܪܫܝܥܐ
rshye' bTybwth' kpry mthTpysyn l' dl'nshyhwn mgdpn' rm' shbhrn' ksp' wrkhmy npshhwn rkhmy bnynsh' wnhwwn
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

ܐܟܠܝ ܩܪܨܐ ܡܫܥܒܕܝ ܠܪܓܬܐ ܒܥܪܝܪܝܐ ܣܢܝܝ ܛܒܬܐ
Tbth' snyy beryry' lrgth' mshebdy qrts' 'kly
without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,

ܡܫܠܡܢܐ ܡܣܪܗܒܐ ܚܬܝܪܐ ܪܚܡܝ ܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܚܘܒܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' khwbh mn Tb rgygth' rkhmy khthyr' msrhb' mshlmn'
traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܣܟܡܐ ܕܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܢ ܚܝܠܗ ܪܚܝܩܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܚܘܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢܟ
mnk 'nwn dkhwq 'nwn dhkn' 'ylyn rkhyqyn khylh wmn 'lh' ddkhlth 'skm' lhwn d'yth
holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.

ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܚܠܕܝܢ ܒܝܬ ܒܬܐ ܘܫܒܝܢ ܢܫܐ ܕܛܡܝܪܢ ܒܚܛܗܐ ܘܡܬܕܒܪܢ ܠܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܡܫܚܠܦܬܐ
mshkhlpth' lrgygth' wmthdbrn bkhTh' dTmyrn nsh' wshbyn bth' byth dmkhldyn hlyn gyr 'nwn mnhwn
For some of these are people who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

ܕܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܝܠܦܢ ܘܡܡܬܘܡ ܠܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ ܠܡܐܬܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ
mshkkhyn l' lm'th' dshrr' lydeth' wmmthwm ylpn dbklzbn
always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܢܣ ܘܝܡܒܪܝܣ ܩܡܘ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܡܘܫܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܗܢܘܢ ܩܝܡܝܢ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܫܪܪܐ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܡܚܒܠ ܪܥܝܢܗܘܢ ܘܣܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
hymnwth' mn wslyn reynhwn dmkhbl 'nsh' shrr' lwqbl qymyn hnwn 'p hkn' mwsh' lwqbl qmw wymbrys dyns dyn 'ykn'
Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these also oppose the truth; men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith are rejected.

ܐܠܐ ܠܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܠܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܫܛܝܘܬܗܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܡܬܝܕܥܐ ܗܝ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܦ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܐܬܝܕܥܬ
'thydeth dhnwn d'p 'ykn' lklnsh hy mthyde' gyr shTywthhwn lqdmyhwn n'thwn l' 'l'
But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܝܬ ܒܬܪ ܝܘܠܦܢܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܕܘܒܪܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܨܒܝܢܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܢܓܝܪܘܬ ܪܘܚܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܘܒܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܝ
msybrnwthy wbthr khwby wbthr rwkhy ngyrwth wbthr hymnwthy wbthr tsbyny wbthr dwbry wbthr ywlpny bthr 'thyth dyn 'nth
But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

ܘܒܬܪ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܫܝ ܘܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܣܝܒܪܬ ܒܐܢܛܝܟܝܐ ܘܒܐܝܩܢܘܢ ܘܒܠܘܣܛܪܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܐ ܣܝܒܪܬ ܘܡܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܦܨܝܢܝ ܡܪܝ
mry ptsyny klhyn wmn sybrth rdypwth' 'yd' wblwsTr' wb'yqnwn b'nTyky' sybrth 'ylyn 'nth wyde khshy wbthr rdypwthy wbthr
persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all.

ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܢܚܘܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܬܪܕܦܝܢ
mthrdpyn mshykh' byshwe dnkhwn 'lh' bdkhlth dtsbyn 'ylyn dyn wklhwn
Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܝܫܐ ܘܡܛܥܝܢܐ ܢܘܣܦܘܢ ܥܠ ܒܝܫܘܬܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܛܥܝܢ ܘܡܛܥܝܢ
wmTeyn Teyn kd byshwthhwn el nwspwn wmTeyn' bysh' dyn bnynsh'
But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܩܘܐ ܒܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܠܦܬ ܘܐܫܬܪܪܬ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܡܢܘ ܝܠܦܬ
ylpth mnw mn gyr 'nth yde w'shthrrth dylpth b'ylyn qw' dyn 'nth
But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

ܘܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܟ ܣܦܪܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܝܠܝܦ ܐܢܬ ܕܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܕܢܚܟܡܘܢܟ ܠܚܝܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' dyshwe bhymnwth' lkhy' dnkhkmwnk dmshkkhyn 'nth ylyp qdysh' spr' Tlywthk wdmn
From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.

ܟܠ ܟܬܒ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܐܬܟܬܒ ܡܘܬܪܢܐ ܗܘ ܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܘܠܟܘܘܢܐ ܘܠܬܘܪܨܐ ܘܠܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܕܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ

Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,

ܕܢܗܘܐ ܓܡܝܪ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܟܠ ܥܒܕ ܛܒ ܡܫܠܡܢ

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
